Saint Cell – MK1 • Urban Legend?

Let me start by saying I was not planning on reviewing this spinner, at least not today….in fact this spinner is one of the FEW in my collection that I did not obtain directly from the manufacturer. That being said I have no reason to believe that it is not ‘real’, as in there is no way this is a clone and if it is KUDOS…they nailed.

All jokes aside….there was an inquiry on the  Spinspace forum on Facebook that asked if this actually was made and how sexy it is. TRUTH….it really is sexy and I already had these pics shot so here goes my thoughts.
Lets start with the packaging…a magnetically closed aluminum box. Nice touch.

Now for a look inside:

It uses an R188 bearing and it comes with an additional one for you to have. It also come with pre-installed Trits….this one was done in Green and Yellow. I have to admit that the standard trit diameter leaves them to be so dim that they really do not usually do much for me but these trits are super large in diameter and length and put off a TON of light. In fact that is a huge reason that I have been unable to part with this one…even though I do not take to out to carry any where.

They claimed on their website when this page was still live that each piece took over 10 hours on the mill to make and I do not doubt it. There is a lot of work on this and I believe the body to be Titanium and it was machined very very clean. Very impressive if you can find one I highly recommend checking it out.

While it is a bar spinner it is super super stable and had very little wobble when hand spinning it and rotating your wrist to feel the gyro effect in your hand….this thing is very very well balanced.

All in all this is a unique piece that will not disappoint and will be hard for any one to really replicated.

My guess is this was too costly for them to really profit on them so they were not able to bring too many to market. Will be curious to hear about the new Kepler design that they recently dropped…..look very cool as well.  Till next time I am triggered 2 report. ALOHA!

Grave Raven – Binary Fusion Review • Simple Perfection

Let me start off by saying that right out of the box both me and my son were like “No way!” “Nuh-unh….let’s sell thing thing ASAP!”…yet here I am today to tell you that I am a changed man. I have to admit that I have never had a spinner become a EDC for me that I did not consider worthy of doing tricks with….that’s just how I am….but this little wonder has made me change my ways. It’s true…out of the box I was not impressed…”It is soooooo small!!!” I was thinking to myself….I could not figure out how to get up on it to flick and pull ….argh I was just not feeling it…then it happened. I fiddled with it long enough to find a way…to pull…to flick…not just in my dominant hand but in both!!! WTF? How is this possible….on top of it all I get 5:00 min plus on in hand spin times….seriously!

So…it is not a trick wizard spinner…nope it’s not kids sorry. Well at least not in this rendition which is the Tungsten/Copper body. It is simply one badass hand spinner…and has become the 1st of what I fear to be many more spinners that blow my mind that I can’t really do most of my favorite arial tricks with because it can’t stay spinning in the air for me….but OH WELL!!!! Who cares….it’s really all about the spin anyway I am realizing now that the Grave Raven has sunk it’s teeth into me.

At the moment of writing this I have been using it as my EDC for the past week or more. Love it! I feel that the body is beginning to get a nice copper tint patine to it. Again…really can’t express how much this thing rocks!

One of the features that makes it so awesome is all of it’s edges and sides are so soft and supple….it is a wonder to hold and just rub your thumb across the ends like a worry stone in your pocket.

All in all I say get your buns over to and sign up on the waiting list. I did a few months ago and eventually my number came up and I was issued a $1000 discount code to use on the site.

I plan on getting some additional buttons so that I can customize mine with my dremmel and add some gauging on the edges to have more grip as the stock buttons are fairly slippery…but still great.

Ultraspinners Ergo Delta Review – it’s A BEAUTY & A BEAST

This is a perfect specimen to be the first review published on spin because it is such a well thought out piece. Like the title says it’s a beauty and a beast. Look at her…she just looks good! You can’t deny that. Then you hold her in your hand and she is a beast. The Tungsten core gives it an awesome heft…and the subtly etched Damasteel faceplates that are applied to the Tungsten core to make complete the original Ergo body design. In your hand it is an Ergo…no way around it. The corners are a little more ‘hot’ then a traditional Ergo due to the natural patterns in the Damasteel being reveled thru the etching process I believe. Not that it is really that noticeable but if you are a Ergo owner this might be the only thing you notice between your other models and this one. All in all at the retail price point of $249 you really can’t go wrong in my opinion.

Now lets take a look under the hood:
That Tungsten core is wire cut…saving material and allowing Ultraspinners to create such a unique hybrid machine. And for now all of the pieces have been sporting a individual serial number….this one being #6 ever made.

I think that placing the serial number right onto the spinner is the best way to go and adds the most value. If the serial number being placed right not the spinner is not enough for you, they also include this anodized aluminum collectors card that also sports the custom serial number….good luck cloning this one cloners. Not gonna happen.

I do not give scores with reviews…just my opinions. At this point in time I do not see myself ever wanting to part with this spinner so therefore it has made it into the ranks of being reviewed. If I like one well enough to struggle with parting with it I will do my best to find the free time to share my thoughts and pics with you. Have a great day and spin on and on and on.

Tech notes:

Max in hand spin time achieved has been 1:20 seconds, averaging more like 1:10…spinning very fast and strong thru about 35 seconds before tapering off in speed and force.

Button flame option: Flamed Level 2 SS Ridged
